Shigeki Yamashiro

Shigeki Yamashiro is a current employee of Nintendo Software Technology Corporation, having worked mainly in the business department during his time with the company.

Yamashiro was born in Japan. After graduating from his university program and working for Namco, he officially joined Nintendo in 1990, initially working as a software engineer for the Entertainment Analysis & Development Division.

He moved from Japan to join NST in 2000 as a coordinator before he was promoted to president of the subsidiary in 2002. He stepped down in 2021 with Tim Betchel succeeding him, though Yamashiro still remains at NST.
