Masaru Shimomura Masaru Shimomura is a former employee of Nintendo Company Limited, having worked mainly in the development department during his time with the company. Shimomura was born in Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture, Japan in 1961. After graduating from Osaka University, he officially joined Nintendo in 1990. He left the company in 2017 and founded a new company called Dokuen in December of that year with Takuya Kaminosono. Dokuen went out of business in 2022. |
