Developer - Manegi Corporation

Manegi Corporation is a joint-venture software development company between Nintendo Co., Ltd. and Hudson Co., Ltd. Formed on May 7, 1998, the company's capital stock was valued at 1 billion yen, with a stock split between Nintendo 60% and Hudson 40%. The company was located in Tokyo's Taito district, and the president of the company will be former Nintendo employee Hiroshi Ikeda. Manegi focused on developing N64 games based on Game Boy titles and development tools for Nintendo and third-party developers to stimulate the N64 market in Japan. In consideration of the international market, the company used "MONEGI" as their world wide name on the grounds of it being easier to pronounce.
