Koji Kondo

Koji Kondo Current employee of Nintendo Company Limited, having worked mainly in the development department during his time with the company. Kondo is originally from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from the Osaka University of Arts, he officially joined Nintendo in 1984, initially working as a sound composer and designer for the Entertainment Analysis & Development Division. His first prize work was composing the music for Super Mario Bros. ➥ Extended Profile Kondo was born in 1961. He has mainly composed music for most of the Super Mario and Legend of Zelda series games. Some of the tunes he has created have become very iconic and recognizable all throughout the world.
