Ko Takeuchi Current employee of Nintendo Company Limited, having worked mainly in the development department during his time with the company. Takeuchi was born in Kōchi, Japan in 1970. During his childhood, he discovered video games through Nintendo products like the Game & Watch handhelds and the Famicom console. After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and briefly working for a game company called Warp, he officially joined Nintendo in 2000, initially working as a Graphic Artist for the Research & Development 1 Division. ➥ Extended Profile Takeuchi's first projects at Nintendo were helping the development of Tottoko Hamtaro: Tomodachi Daisaku Ikusa Dechu, and creating background graphics for Wario Land 4. He is best known for his signature art style that embodies the WarioWare and Rhythm Tengoku series, as well as designing the corresponding characters.
