Kenji Nishizawa

Kenji Nishizawa Current employee of Nintendo Company Limited, having worked mainly in the development department during his time with the company. Nishizawa was born in Kyoto, Japan in 1960. After graduating the University of Kyoto, he officially joined Nintendo in 1982, initially working as a Computer Programmer for the Research & Development 1 Division. ➥ Extended Profile Nishizawa's first major contribution was assisting the Donkey Kong arcade reverse engineering team. Another major contribution was Nishizawa's work in developing a password program for the NES conversions of Famicom Disk titles like Metroid and Kid Icarus. Nishizawa's most recent role in the company has been that of a supervisor and coordinator. Nishizawa also held a management position in Nintendo subsidiary Marigul Management from 1999 to 2001.
