Kenji Iwata Kenji Iwata is a current employee of Nintendo Company Limited, having worked mainly in the development department during his time with the company. Iwata is from Fuefuki, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from Nippon Kogakuin Hachioji National College, he officially joined Nintendo in 2012, initially working as a software engineer for the Entertainment Analysis & Development Division.
