Keiji Terui

Keiji Terui was a Japanese TV Screenwriter who worked on the anime series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball Z Kai. He also worked on the movies Dr. Slump and Arale-chan: Hoyoyo! Dream Capital Mecha Police, Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle, Goku's Fire Brigade and Goku's Traffic Safety. Outside of the anime adaptations of Akira Toriyama's manga series, Keiji Terui worked on Ashita Tenki ni Nare!, Doteraman, Kamen no Ninja Akakage, Okawari-Boy Starzan S, Osomatsu-kun, Sasuga no Sarutobi, and Yume no Hoshi no Button Nose.

Terui briefly worked for Nintendo after being approached by Shigeru Miyamoto. Terui was first tasked with writing the backstory for the original The Legend of Zelda. Nintendo also contracted Terui to create the screen play for two original adventure games for the Famicom Disk System: Famicom Folk Tale: Brave Spirit and Time Twist.
