Hideki Konno

Hideki Konno is a former employee of Nintendo Company Limited, having worked mainly in the development department during his time with the company.

Konno is a native resident of Japan. After graduating from Japan Electronics College, he officially joined Nintendo in 1986, initially working as an planner for the Entertainment Analysis & Development Division.

His first prize work was designing Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic for the Famicom Disk System, which was originally based on a popular Japanese television show in Japan, which was later redesigned for the international market as Super Mario Bros. 2.

He retired from the company after nearly forty years of service in July 2025.
