Apparently, she was promoted to Project Leader of Software Group No. 2
This is a new official position Nintendo has been using in their game development sectors for two years now.
Here is the breakdown. We will use EAD as the example here.
EAD Division - General Manager, Executive Officer (Miyamoto, Tezuka, older seniors that kind of run the entire R&D division.
EAD Department - Deputy Manager, manager of the specific departments within EAD
EAD Groups - Manager/Producers who manage small teams and produce multiple software at same time. (Aonuma, Koizumi, Konno).
EAD Groups - Project Leaders are basically the chief directors of a specific game project. We've seen Koichi Hayashida (Super Mario 3D Land / World), Kosuke Yabuki (Mario Kart 7/8), Takayuki Shimamura (Nintendo Land / Wii Sports Club), Hidemaro Fujibayashi (Zelda Skyward / Zelda Wii U) named as project leaders. Basically the big names we should be attaching to games now.
EAD Groups - Planners - Basically the assistant directors / level designers / assistants to the game director. The main core structurally.
