It would have been great for Nintendo to start with Wii U with some western first party IPs. Looks like they have zero interest in anything other than Mario, Pokemon, and the usual kid centric franchises.
The demo is said to be using the CryEngine. So they seem to have ported the game to that new engine. I wonder where the funds for the past year have come from.

Remember when we were confident Nintendo was publishing Eternal Darkness 2 and even that PGR spiritual sequel Concept GT. Well forget all that! New Super Mario Bros, Mario 3D, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario RPG, Mario Sports, Mario Math, etc. Game set match. Oh. For some variety, some Luigi games.
I'm a big gamer all around. I play a good mix of games across platforms from many great developers of course. Definitely been spending more time with SONY hardware lately.
