Basically should we just do it this way for the archive here? I actually translated the n-sider ones.. so the making of the game can be inhouse. Then we can link the Iwata Asks and Glitterberri

A couple of the glitterberri (famicom and dawn of video games) seem more like articles than interviews no? Or am i missing something.

You're kidding? You translated those articles! I should have known :/

Anyway, I didn't really know what you intended for this particular forum, so I was just collecting various interviews here for reference later down the line in case we need to use them. If you had something else in mind, please let me know.

P.S. Yeah you're right about the Famicom and Dawn of Video Game articles. They'll still be useful though when we start creating the articles for the Famicom/NES and need development information on them.

The forums are open to the public. Which is my hope that we will get lots of contributions from the outside world. Everything else is of course open to moderators only.

Ah, that makes since. I thought the forum was mod-only as well. My bad :P

In the "interview" section under "database", are we going to copy and paste interviews there? If so, there are several retro Nintendo Power interviews from the eighties and nineties that would probably be perfect.

Hi, I've got a question regarding your translation of the developer interview on Super Mario Sunshine. A colleague of me and myself couldn't really understand the following passage:

"It was thought that the world was daringly out of character with Mario. Therefore, I thought that a man type character would be used at first. But if there is a man next to Mario, there is a sense of incongruity. Then, we sort of unified the character we thought finally suited the view of the world. However, regarding the man type character we partly made, since the island's Monte fellows and Mare fellows were wacky cartoony residents, they did not have sense of incongruity."

I thought it would be the best to ask you as the translator what this part is supposed to mean. Does it mean that originally the developers planned to include humans in the game as opposed to the Pianta guys? Could you please help me out with that passage?

It probably is referring to humans. You can see a human in the SpaceWorld trailer.
