A few days ago, a prototype of THQ-funded Tetris DS was leaked. This version was developed by TOSE, a company which developed several other Tetris titles including Tetris 2.
Looking at the credits of the Nintendo-published Tetris DS, I realised that the team was relatively small and that staff members mostly worked with external developers before and after that particular title. In particular, I was a bit baffled when Picross DS had a team size twice as large as Tetris DS, despite the latter having quite a few more features and even an online mode.
Is there any information on whether Tetris DS was really only an internal project at Nintendo?
