Thank you to @LukasManak22 for reminding me..

A few years ago I posted an EPD production staff leak (thanks to an old source who used to hook me up with info) that showed staff associated to certain EPD groups

If you notice, Koichi Hayashida was listed under EPD10 (Kyoto). I initially figured it was probably just him helping out on a project since he was so familiar with 3D Mario —-

but if you look at his credits, his last EPD Tokyo credit was Captain Toad Switch/3DS (2018) and since there has been nothing for Tokyo… just EPD 10 Kyoto. Development support on Super Mario Maker 2, and a Planner on Wonder.

So Kenta Motokura has likely taken over as Producer/Manager for EPD 8? I wonder where that leaves the next 3D Mario and their 2D project in terms of directors. I think Shinya Hiratake will be in charge of one of them. It seems that he was the director of 3D World + Bowser's Fury, based on the Canadian copyright application.

Also just realized that leak also lists Toshiharu Izuno under EDP 5. Seeing that he wasn't credited in Mario Golf: Super Rush but listed under Special Thanks in New Horizons and Splatoon 3, it lines up. Especially if the change happened in Late 2018.
