Apparently Shiro Mouri is the director of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I was thinking Yusuke Amano would be director and new face of the series after being moved from Splatoon 3.

Mouri being the director after having the same role for NSMBU Deluxe makes sense. Most of that port's leads have been no-shows since.

Amano was a planning supervisor for New Horizons, so he possibly could still be a part of EPD 5 on a new project. I had a theory a while back that the group will have different producers along with Nogami, as Aya Kyogoku had no involvement in Splatoon 3.

Coincidentally, Toshiharu Izuno hasn't been credited as producer since 2018 (not even Mario Golf: Super Rush), but received a Special Thanks in both New Horizons and Splatoon 3.

My theory was that the AC team and Splatoon team would go on to form their own production groups. We are still figuring out Production Group 01 and their new identity.
