Nintendo to shut down Eshop - What's your take?

I think that killing the Eshop is an extremely dumb move. According to GameXplain, there are 600+ titles that will be unplayable until they enter the public domain in the 22nd Century. They sue people for piracy, but actively (though indirectly) encourage it.

What are your thoughts?

I also think it's a pretty idiotic idea. However, it's a good thing sites like MarioCube exist. Without it, we would've lost all WiiWare, Virtual Console, and DSiWare titles. They may not be accessible by normal means anymore, but they've been saved and that's all that matters in the end.
