Do we already know who is developing the New 3DS port of Xenoblade Chronicles? Most people will assume it's being developed by Monolith Soft, but that's quite unlikely, no? After all, Monolith Soft Tokyo has to be completely engaged by Xenoblade Chronicles X, while the Kyoto artist team might be assisting on Zelda Wii U and is not able to develop an own game. So who could be behind the 3D port?
It's probably Monolith Soft and like 5 other companies.
Well, Monster Games Inc. certainly was a surprise.
Since the Project X Zone team seems to be unaccounted for at this time, do you thing it's possible they're working with Namco on Project Treasure? It seems like Kos-Mos is featuring in this game, and usually when she shows up in a game since the buyout that team is involved.
I don't know. Xenoblade Chronicles X looks like a big game, and it is crunch time so a majority of the staff might be working on it. Also, there probably is also a small support unit working with Monster Games.
As far as I can tell Morizumi's team have never worked on a Nintendo game. The only games they've done are Namco games which have obviously been exclusive to Nintendo consoles. I think Iwata and Sugiura want that team to be creating games with Namco to boost the third party portfolio. That said, a game which seems to be a 3D action game would be a big change from Morizumi's history.
