Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

Developer: Nintendo EPD Production Group 7

Release: Spring 2026, Switch 1

Notes: Definitely an inhouse game since it is modulesystem engine. Only question is whether it is EPD7 (or if it's been reorganized) and if there is a familiar or unfamiliar assist developer.

Star Fox

Developer: ????

Release: Summer 2026, Switch 2

Notes: A couple of different possibilities. Could be EPD/SRD and another assist developer. Could be mainly developed outside at Velan Studios. I'm leaning towards EPD lead with examples like Donkey Kong and Pikmin.

Rhythm Heaven Groove

Developer: Nintendo EPD Production Group No.04 / Indies Zero

Release: Summer 2026, Switch 1

Notes: Most likely the same combination team EPD/Indies Zero we saw on Big Brain Academy / NES Remix.

Switch Sports for Nintendo Switch 2

Developer: Nintendo EPD Production Group No.04

Release: Summer 2026, Switch 2

Notes: Definitely an EPD game since the patents already show EPD programmers behind some of the new mini games. Could Eighting assist on some of the mini games?

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2026

Developer: Nintendo EPD Production Group No.03 / ??

Release: Fall 2026, Switch 2

Notes: Could resemble the structure of the Champion of Ballads DLC where still EPD/SRD/Monolith but more Monolith heavy. Also probably more art outsourcing to outside devs. Something tells me that EPD/SRD programmers will be involved on maybe using some of the initial engine that the next Zelda will use — ala Wind Waker HD. Or it could just resemble the way EPD produced and directed the Grezzo Zelda games.
