So, while I haven't been able to watch the direct in its entirety, I have heard through word of mouth that there were some very shocking reveals:

Tomodachi Life gets a sequel after nearly 11 years of people clamoring for Nintendo to make a follow-up game, called Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. It does look very different from the original game, so I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy it, but I am holding out hope that it'll be reasonably good.

Rhythm Heaven is also finally returning, with the new installment being titled Rhythm Heaven Groove.

Honestly, definitely one of the most surprising Directs in recent memory. I honestly thought both of these franchises were dead in the water and Nintendo wouldn't even touch them with a ten-foot pole, but evidently I was wrong. So, Kyoto Ninja, it seems like your predictions of a Tomodachi Life and Rhythm Heaven sequel that you've maintained finally came true after all.

I suppose the only problem with the aforementioned games is that they won't release until 2026, so we still have quite a long time to wait.
