Since that started back on the Wii U, he was probably working on Labo. The Oshino patent looks like it's for Super Mario Maker 2 - in particular, the process for moving objects that would be moved with the touch screen with some sort of drag operation, probably the stick.

Yusaku Shimizu was also associated with this patent.
