Wow you are right about Konno leaving. Apparently he left in July 2025. He was definitely a senior developer, but i wonder if mobile not working out kind of ushered his exit.

Kensuke Tanabe has revealed that Metroid Prime 4 will be his final production, and he plans to retire as a game developer at Nintendo. Tanabe also thinks Risa Tabata would be a good successor to him.

P.S. Hideki Konno, who served as Mario Kart producer and smart device group manager, also announced his departure from Nintendo on his Facebook last year.

http://kyoto-report.wikidot.com/game-production-staff

I'm working on restructuring the personnel database as well. I will use this link for now before i take over the personnel database link (we can make another link for the kanji lists). I think using this format, we can have all current staff across NCL (EPD, PTD), SRD, MC, 1UP, NDCUBE, Monolith, NST, NERD, IQUE, Retro on one page. Not only would this be a concise way of listing all the major Nintendo staff on one page, but it will also be helpful in tracking the numbers of each company across / and also track across what dev they belong t.

NintendoFanatic, can you fill in the Mario Club (debuggers) and SRD (programmers)? I know that you've been tagging them. Takamori do you want to fill in the Monolith and NDCUBE?

I've been meaning to restructure the Production Archive - can everyone check it out. I've wanted to delineate the Production Credits and Development Notes but keep them in an easy to find manner. Also since the search function isn't working right now, I want to have everything viewable on one page.

Without truly knowing much about them, Pokemon Battrio and Tretta are puck based games that play a little like Stadium but with altered mechanics, according to sources such as Serebii. I wonder if Genius Sonority wants to get back to making a game like that (I know they didn't develop Battrio or Tretta though(or have a role in them??) even maybe one that is an RPG like Colosseum/XD, and if the 'puck series' is an inspiration for such a machine/hardware? Or maybe the machine is existing (seems interesting if it said "game specific machine" though). Could Nintendo Labo VR also be relevant? However yeah, it could just be another puzzle game like you said on another thread about them being relisted as affiliates.
