Arzest Corp. is a privately held company that specializes in video game development. The company was originally founded in June 2010 by key members of Artoon, which was also founded by Arzest Executive Vice President Naoto Ohshima, best known as the character designer of Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as his nemesis Dr. Eggman. Arzest Corp. is composed of several key Artoon and Sega members who worked on the Panzer Dragoon series. The company has contracted work for a few third party licensees including Mystwalker and Level 5, while maintaining first-party contract work for Nintendo on franchises like Yoshi's Island, Mario & Sonic, and StreetPass DLC Games.
